Two of David Murphy's SF novels have been published in the USA. Arkon Chronicles appeared from a small press in 2003. Longevity City was published by Five Star and well received in 2005. The best of his award-winning short fiction (the story "Lost Notes" won the inaugural Maurice Walsh Award) was gathered in the collection Lost Notes (published by Dublin's Aeon Press in 2004). His short stories have appeared over eighty-five times in magazines, anthologies and chapbooks worldwide. He has recently finished a near-future novel set against a backdrop of global warming. Dave is known in Ireland for readings at bookshops, arts festivals and various other events and is part of the holy sect that brings you Albedo One, Aeon Press and the Aeon Award. Though living in exile in the greater Dublin area for over thirty years, he remains a true and loyal citizen of the People's Republic.
